Carlton the Doorman

Carlton is the doorman at the fabulous Mayflower Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C. He is very welcoming, got my bags and my car taken care of, and even let me take his picture to show off his awesomeness. He is also a new father!

Charlemagne

Charlemagne, French for Carl the Man, was perhaps the greatest Carl ever, or almost. Charlemagne was King of the Franks in 800 A.D. and pretty much conquered most of Europe because he was awesome. He was crowned Holy Roman Emperor by the Pope and kicked off the middle ages. Let's see a Cody or a Tyler do that!

Carl Winslow

And who can forget Carl Winslow, that hardworking dad on Family Matters and all the Steve Urkel shenanigans he put up with.

Carl Wilson was the lead guitarist for the Beach Boys. Did you know that there is a historic landmark commemorating the childhood home of the Beach Boys in California? Virginia has presidents and generals and California has the Beach Boys. Carl Wilson would probably say that that is very cool . . . dude.
